Welcome to LegalEpp (“LegalEpp,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our notary public services, website, digital tools, and related offerings (collectively, the “Services”). LegalEpp is headquartered in Ghana and serves individuals and organizations seeking accessible, professional notarial services.
By accessing or using our Services, you agree to comply with and be legally bound by these Terms, as well as our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use our Services.
LegalEpp provides digital and in-person notary public services designed to meet the legal documentation and certification needs of individuals, businesses, and professionals across Ghana. Our services include but are not limited to:
Remote and in-person document notarization
Electronic signing and verification
Preparation and review of legal documents requiring notarization
Guidance on document authenticity and compliance with Ghanaian laws
Users of our Services agree to:
Provide accurate, complete, and lawful documents for notarization
Confirm the identity of parties involved, where applicable
Cooperate during identity verification processes
Use the Services in accordance with Ghanaian law and not for any fraudulent or unlawful purpose
Pay applicable fees in a timely manner
Maintain confidentiality of personal credentials or session links provided
Users retain ownership of any original documents submitted. By submitting such documents, you confirm you have the legal right to do so and grant LegalEpp permission to process and notarize them.
All platform materials, content, tools, branding, and technology remain the exclusive property of LegalEpp. You may not reproduce, distribute, or exploit any part of the Services without our written permission.
Both parties agree to maintain the confidentiality of all sensitive and personally identifiable information exchanged during service delivery. Reasonable steps will be taken to safeguard all data.
Confidentiality obligations do not apply to information that:
Becomes public through no fault of either party
Was known prior to disclosure
Is independently developed
Must be disclosed under applicable law or court order
Timelines for notarization or document handling will be communicated prior to service commencement. Delays due to incomplete submissions or verification failures may affect delivery time.
Requests to modify service scope must be made in writing. Additional costs or extended timelines will be communicated and must be approved by both parties before implementation.
LegalEpp warrants that:
All services are performed by certified professionals
Documents are handled with diligence and in accordance with Ghanaian legal standards
Tools used for electronic notarization meet regulatory compliance
LegalEpp does not guarantee outcomes outside its control, such as acceptance of notarized documents by third parties. All services are provided “as is,” without warranties beyond those explicitly stated.
Our total liability is limited to the fees paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.
You agree to indemnify and hold LegalEpp harmless from any claims arising from:
Improper or unlawful use of the Services
Submission of fraudulent or unverified documents
Breach of these Terms
Either party may terminate the service relationship under the following conditions:
Breach of these Terms
Failure to comply with identity or document verification
Prolonged force majeure event (beyond 60 days)
Upon termination:
All outstanding fees become due
Work in progress may be delivered in its current form
Confidential materials must be returned or destroyed
Applicable clauses of these Terms will survive termination
The parties agree to attempt in good faith to resolve any disputes through mediation prior to initiating legal proceedings. Costs of mediation will be equally shared.
These Terms are governed by and construed under the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ghana, and the prevailing party may recover reasonable legal fees.
You may not assign or transfer your rights under these Terms without prior written consent from LegalEpp.
If any provision is found to be invalid, the rest of the Terms remain enforceable and effective.
These Terms, along with our Privacy Policy, constitute the full agreement between you and LegalEpp. No oral or prior written agreements apply unless explicitly incorporated.
We aim to provide reliable and satisfactory services. You may request a refund under the following conditions:
Refunds are available within 30 days of service if:
You provide a valid reason and supporting documentation
The service has not been completed or materially failed to meet the description
The following are non-refundable unless proven defective:
Completed notarizations
Digital downloads once accessed
Personalized services once rendered
If approved:
Refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days
Refunds will be made to the original payment method
Refunds may be denied if:
Misuse of services is evident
Eligibility requirements are unmet
There is suspected abuse of the refund policy

At LegalEpp, we are committed to providing timely and trustworthy notary public services to individuals and businesses across Ghana. While most services are fulfilled without delay, we understand that timely delivery matters—especially when legal documents are involved.
You are eligible for a full refund only if:
You booked and paid for a notary service through LegalEpp’s platform
The assigned notary fails to deliver the service within 72 hours of your confirmed booking
You submit a refund request within 7 days after the missed deadline
Refunds will not be issued if:
The notary attempted to contact you but couldn’t reach you
You missed or delayed the appointment yourself
You cancel after the notary has already started processing your documents
You change your mind after the service has been completed or initiated

The booking reference or receipt
A brief explanation of what happened
Any supporting documents (if available)
We’ll review your request and respond within 2–3 business days.
If your refund is approved:
It will be issued to your original payment method
Processing may take up to 10 business days, depending on your bank or provider
You will be notified by email once the refund is completed
LegalEpp stands by the quality and professionalism of our notaries. If something doesn’t go as planned, we will work with you to resolve it fairly.
